It was refreshing to read, and I’m glad of who Brenna chose, because it was the right one. Brenna Blixen is the new girl in town, but it doesn’t take long before a guy Sometimes, you can really detect the author’s voice in such young characters and I think Liz pretty much managed to avoid that here. Characters Despite everything I talked about already, Brenna is actually a fairly good character.
I was right about that reference, and I was right to give this book a chance.
