Will I reread it? Still, this is a life-long favorite, so I tried to preserve what Echol could. Where do I start with this amazingly written book? There’s a scene in the back of the bus that reminds Honestly, somewhere inside, my inner-nerd rejoiced at such a book.

The characters voices are real, and situations are dealt with in a believable way. As always, there’s something more going on besides the petty dramas of marching band and I did love all the side stories, with Virginia’s best friend, her relationship with her family. Every time, it started with “girlfriend” and ended with “bitch.
Can Virginia and Drew both pull it together for the sake of the band? How did I not know Jen Echols wrote a book about marching band?! My jaw dropped at the twin and her bad blue eyeliner. I haven’t read a lot of teen romance books with band members in them and it was interesting to know that there’s a lot going on in a school band. Customers who viewed this item also viewed.
